mk5 cortina pinto conversion to cossie 205???
Hi guys im a total newbie, just baught a mk5 cortina modified with a pinto in it and shes blown up for no reason wat so ever, anyway ive got a donour engine but i want to build a nice cosworth 205 block turbo, was just wondering what id have to change? Mounts? Gearbox? Bulkhead modifing? radiator? Loom? Any help much appriciated, thanks Ty
You will need a few things.
Cossie engine + T5 gearbox
ECU + Loom
Slight mod of transmission tunnel
Modified propshaft
Bigger brakes
Bigger radiator
Intercooler
Modified Fuel Tank (i still have mine)
And a few other bits like uprated bushes, suspension etc
Heres a pic of my old one.
And after i crashed it
