Jim,
Is possible, BUT ONLY if there is enough meat on the wheel / strength left to do this. Wouldn't advise taking off any more than a few mm as you also need clearance on the brakes which is quite tight on the Escort rim...

I personally wouldn't bother as its too much aggro. Get the Mondeo/Escort Si wheel if you like them. I do think Esc Cos wheels look the nutts on Saffs though

It's true jim - the EsCos rims look as if they were MADE for the Sierra's - Saff and 3dr's, and would look odd if you pulled them in a bit.... Jsut get some decent tyres so no rubs and leave it

Jim take a look at that maroon sierra hatch with the cossie YB conversion that does track days. That has 16" Esc Cos wheels and the owner has had the front arches rolled and 'pulled' so the wheels look right. You really wouldn't notice till someone points out the arches come out from the car a bit more.

Jim,

Whats the problem? Do you find the wheels stick out too much or are they rubbing? My escort cossie wheels don't rub at all with 215/40/16 tyres but they do stick out beyond the arches but about an inch! Makes it look a bit like a monster truck!
