Im looking into getting a strut brace for my sierra cosworth. I have looked at OMP ones and they look abit poor?? any coments??
The Grp A ones look like the perform and i have heard afew good views on them. But i need something that will cover the full strut top, as i have marks on them and someone has drilled holes for another strut brace previously.
Whats your opinions??
Also how do you take the ICV out of a 2wd throttle body?? I have removed the conector and the support ring that fixes to the TB with the screws, and it expected it to just come out!! Its not coming out have I missed somthing? Rather silly question lol.
Thanks
Bruce

I will have a go at the ISCV tonight with a small
tap!!
Any more options on strut braces??

I spent months trying to find a strut brace for mine I was orginally after one like above which I managed to find at Burton Power after 5 months they sent me one and it was very badly scratched, they sent me another one and it was even worse. I've now got a Forge Motorsport one the front end feels really positive now and I thought it was good before the brace went in.

Mike Rainbird sells a proper front strut brace. Has proper mounting for proper nuts and bolts, rather than just self tapping screws that people use
on my list for next year

There you go, these are bling and actually mount down the sides of the suspension turret, not just over the top

The brace is mounted right round the top of the strut by nuts and bolts that were supplied with the brace.
Cost £205 inc. VAT I was lucky enough to ge mine for £175 as I brought it a Trax.
