It's not normal mate could be the headgasket or turbo on it's way out but if you've had the headgasket done not that long ago then it could be the turbo on it's last leg's. Do a compression test on it anyway just to makesure the headgasket is ok But someone else on here had the same sort of problem and it ended up being there turbo.
What brand new or one you've got off someone who said it was almost new?? I'd do a compression test just to see what the compression is. Is it deffo white smoke not like a blue/gray??
check that your servo is not leaking in brake fluid mate remove the inlet pipe from the servo and place a cable down the whole and it will tell you if it is leaking my friends series 1 did this doesnt need alot of brake fluid ethier
