which company can do this?

and is it by cutting/sleeving the shafts

or by doing it correctly by shortening the shafts and then re-machining the splines



or even better are there any other shorter ford shafts that fit, such as front driveshafts off something?

Just had one apart and it can't be re-machined, as after the splines it goes narrower

so weld it is

how much play should there be along the axis of the shaft
a) at ride height driveshaft level
b) at full droop?

anyone?
