Default Gear box oil seal HELP esc cos

hello

Im looking for a REAR gearbox oil seal, the one thats where the prop shaft goes into the gearbox

its a escort cosworth

ford try to tell me that parts been discontinued ???!!

appreciate any help lads

bloody good website that, have ordered up a oil seal not sure I need the casing so have left that for now, thanks guys

bbigman2000,

Are you SURE that the oil is leaking from the rear sael?

The MT75 gearbox has a breather (high up on the casing top) and oil escaping from this breather allways runs down/back.....it can make it apear that the rear seal is leaking.

Doug, im not certain mate NO, but I will have a dam close inspection of it on wednesday, im just going on what my mechanic has told me to buy in.

will let ya know the diagnosis, shes in for a new front diff same day
