I KNOW its a ignition amplifing module, but what does it ACTUALLY do??

As in, whats it do?

 

it does nothing actualy, it's only there for show

because the battery only gives off 12V.....not really enough for a spark is it

Is it just no spark?

 

sparks from the coil lead, but no spark from any of the leads going to the plugs.

All was working fine b4 the car was taken off the road * years ago

Don't mean to tell you how to suck eggs but you were turning the engine over when checking for a spark at the plug? and you do have good earths?

I had someone tell me they couldn't get a spark when holding the plug on the engine, fooker wasn't turning the engine over

 

I don't think it amplifies the voltage, i think it amplifies the amps.

Might be wrong though.

Btw isnt the thing u wanna know about called a hall sensor? it detects the speed rotation, position and angle
measure why would it be an ignition amplifier when that's what the coil does? the coil amplifies the spark....well im maybe wrong cos i think cossies have an ignition amplifier as well as a coil....

 

Its defo an Ignition Amplifing Module, Mr haynes says so.
