I had my car up for sale a few weeks ago and got ALOT of interest.....But when it came to the crunch i couldnt sell it

Sat and had a think earlier .....one hand says sell it

The other says keep it.......

I really dont know what to do.........I dont use it that much, but when i do i LOVE IT

 

Depends on your reasons for selling it Tiff, do you really fancy getting rid after all the hassle you had?

Fair enough you dont use it that often then why not have a limited mile policy and keep it tucked away for the summer (so long as finances will allow).

Im against selling it fella but your car

 

If you can afford to keep it then keep it as Lucid say's get a limited milage policy on it and just have it as a toy for the hot summer day's (not that we get that many )

 

I sold mine and always wished i had'nt, i needed the cash for Oz but if your ok in the money department i'd do as said above.
Get yourself a cheap run around for everyday use, I ended up buying my Series 1 back, best thing i could've done. Its in the summer when you see RST's around you'll wish you'd not sold yours (if you do)... trust me, i've been there.

Everyone's diffrent and its your choice at the end of the day, just make sure its what you really want, after all a good Series 1 is hard to find.

 

Tiff, some questions for you.

Is the car in the way?
Is the car paid for and not costing you money in repayments?
Is the car high maintenance and requires constand work/money to keep it on the road?
Do you enjoy driving the car when you do?
Is the only issue with the car that you don't drive it that often?

Sit back and look at the mand answer them to yourself. If your only reason is that you don't use it then fooking use it!!! It's only you that can rectify that.

look at it this way, its a lot of cash tied up in a car that wont see rain i had mine for 11 month and it done 223 mile in that time

If it was worth Ł15k - Ł40k then I would be more tempted to tell you to sell and use that money on something else, but it worth say Ł6k (guessing??) at top end of the market..which is not a lot of money for a mint car mate. Keep it, use it in the nice weather over the winter: I was out in mine on Monday for a bit...only 15 mins mind, but loved it.

You will always have interest Mark as it is a very good example. Give it until the show season and see how it goes. If you don't want it still at that point once you are out & driving & geting the admiring glances from males & females ( ) then sell it in the summer when you may get more for it as potential buyers wil want to be out in it themselves instead of seeing it tucked away like you are at the minute.

After he said would i take any offers on it he turned to me and said that it was a little more than he wanted to spend............

He knew it was 4k before he even set off

Mine got parked up in storage and never moved for 2 years and came out for a few months this year.

Now stored up again till next year,its only a summer toy!
