Default Original RS500 Front Splitter..........SOLD

As title says Splitter is brand new in the ford bag. Never mounted, no holes drilled.

$2200 US obo <-- That means Im a bit negotiable

I am in the US, but can sweeten the deal for UK buyers. In about a month from now my good friend will be traveling to England and has offered to carry them with him, and ship them from there, which would cut shipping costs signifigantly.

Not at all, there is no way that is worth over a grand...just because people in this country are used to being ripped off on parts its made them believe that its actually worth that cost. All because some one is willing to pay a high amount doesnt warrant its value. Compare the prices we pay for componants that the yanks use on their on motors and this country is a fucking joke...its embarrasing how much we pay for stuff, and to say we get a better quality item to justify the cost is also a load of bollocks...ive started using internet shops from the states, hell of a lot cheaper even after import costs. Why else do you think he's chosen this country to advertise the splitter

Mate that post was a bit silly

Same rule applies to everything... its worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.. supply and demand determines price and always will do

The reason I chose to advertise here is very simple: the largest collection of Sierra Cosworths, especially RS500's, can be found in England. Therefore it makes sense that England would be my target audience.

When you have a rare, out of production item, supply & demand is the only thing that determines price. Its very different than something that is currently being manufactured, that can be manufactured for cheaper in, say, China, with their droves of almost slave level laborers. If you pay attention to what goes on in your own country you would be aware that items that are manufactured in China are assessed a very high importation tax / tarrif due to the above mention situation. The reason you can get stuff cheaper here is, the US has no such rules / laws. But again, all this goes out the window when it concerns rare, out of production items.

But the real beauty of all this is: if you think its too expensive, no one is making you buy it! You can always wait for the next one to come along, especially in this condition.

i would say so .. as they normally corrode or rust .. so when you take the nuts off they tend to snap off ..
