Default Buy another or repair ?

I have just killed my gearbox but dont know which part has failed. It whines when driving and squeaks sometimes too, also crunches into reverse very hard to select and sometimes jumps out of reverse. I have seen gearbox repair kits i.e bearings and gasket etc would this be any good as i presume its a bearing failure ?

i now have 2 spare gearboxes so surely can make one good one ?

Yep but only a bit.

Get a Bernie box in mate you won't regret it. Some of the best pennies I've spent on my car now.
