Did all xr2i come with cigarette lighters as i havent got one in mine and the hole has the black cover it will the wires be there for one i could just get one from a scrappie just wonderd if the wires would be there eny other ideas if not just so i can put the snooper in.

 

dont see why it wouldnt have one, even the base model ones do. take the black cover of and see if the housing is still there.

Take the panel out that is around it

(3 bolts, 2 in behind ash tray and one under the cig lighter socket)

then remove the heater matrix knob. Then pull off the front for the heater matrix and the 2 sliders will pop off.

There is two clips that will pop out and the whole surround radio and all will come out, This way you will be able to see all the wiring you have in there.

Ypu may also want to disconnect the buttons on the dash too
