can one run an xr3i/rs1600i inlet manifold on an mfi rst ok without probs, ie does iot fit. obviously a new intercooler pipe nees to be joined and im assuming acouple of bits of samco and a long pipe shud do it. just think it may help with act's and just look a bit different.
I've built a 2.0 ZVH turbo with a RSi manifold.
Not for lower ACT's or better flow but for a different look and most of all because this way I can use the RSi cam cover........
Car doesn't run yet but I've seen a couple of examples like this at the shows.
Use an RSi inlet, the throttle body bolts line up with the turbo throttle body, the 3i one is different! Also the 3i throttle body is placed on the inlet at an angle which makes it more difficult to create a cross over pipe from I/C to throttle body......
Hopefully this helps you out a bit.
