I was there

My rev counter decided to go tits up on the way up so i had to guess when to change gear i hit the limiter a few times and changed a bit to early a few times to pmsl 15.0 was my best lol

Was lots of fords up there! Was a good 2 days

 

Was a good weekend


First time on the strip managed a best time of 14.6, was quite chuffed with that

 

we went up saturday, got there about 3pm, got pissed...

went to bed about 3am LOL up at 7am feelin slightly worse for wear! signed on sat in a que until 11am and then had my first ever experience of the quarter mile!!! LOL

then ollie taught me how to do a burn out and launch



so back i went!! on the strip!! and got the same time PMSL

i did 17.5 secs both times

wanted to try for 16 but my head was too mashed up

HAD A WICKED TIME THOUGH!!

Been busy all weekend



I only managed 2 runs yesterday

 

i only managed 2 runs too, went to go for a 3rd run at end of day and ended up with someone droppin their gear box on strip, so i turned round and we came home

 

Yeah packed! We had a photographer meating us at 11.30 so we decided to go sign on and get a run in at 9am then that would give us 2 1/2 hours to get our cars clean! Well signed on at 8.30 was at the front of the queue and the norris designs evo had spat a load of oil down the strip sat night, they decided to leave it till the morning to clear it up! 11.30am the strip opened it took them that long to clean it up Think there was a back log all day becouse of that!

So gave us 15 mins to get our cars clean pmsl

Then alex blew a water hose off late afternoon and managed to shut down that lane for the rest of the day So they was only running one lane lol
