I done mine like that, i had a problem tho coz i ddint do it untill 3 days before it run out so had no tax in the car for a few days

 

You can't even tax a car at my local post office. The post office is pretty useless nowadays. You can't even post large parcels from it either

So where and how do you get car tax online? can i pay via debit card?

 

You can post letters from it though... And if I was 65 I could get my pension there too.

And on Thursdays lots of neds Q up for the dole.

But aside from that it's utterly useless.

 

When you get your reminder through it'll have a code that you use - but you need to have one of the new style MOT's for it to work. They know if the cars MOT'd and inusred, you put in your card details and the disc comes through the post.

New style mot? how new are we talking? my last one was issued last november(2005) knowing my luck thats an old one and i wont be able to do in online until i get a new MOT next month, by which time my tax will be up for renewal before then, oh well
