That,s the one (4 SPOT LIGHTS) The esses used to be shit hot,seen alot of scary things up there.A few near misses.Was up there one night and a car lost it and ploughed into a girl in the crowd.EVERY FOCKER jumped in there cars and done one.Poor girl was lying on the pavement with a broken leg and her boyfriend trying to drag her in his car before OLD BILL arrived.

Also remember 2 FIAT STRADAS with COSSIE LUMPS IN

always remember a scooby estate cruising round and firing a flre gun around into the crowd needless to say his bad luck when he got stuck in traffic as that scooby and him didnt end up to nice

wheels is just dangerous, no where to park its that full, they come racing round on the main road onto on coming cars, very dangerous, my mates s1 got smacked up there by a 405 and they done one but my mates gave chase and caught them

tisley which is up the road isnt bad, none of the idiots in stolen cars go up there,just a selected few and is quite a good nite then

then hams hall, heard the old bill dont bother as much now, but then thats what ive heard havnt been anywhere like that in 3 years now

dont think ill bother with what the police can do now

 

Another little story of what used to go on.

,My mate driving around in his SAFF COSSIE being followed by 2 FIESTA XR2,S. Every move he made ,they made.Through red lights the lot.Wasn,t trying to get away,just trying to lose them.Anyway,after about 1 hour they were still on his tail ,so he rang a few of us that were up there and told us to meet up with him.We all met up and the XR2,S dissapeared.Then later ,there was a bit of a crowd at THE ASDA,so we went there (usual donuts ,handbreak turns,e.c.t)Then my mate shouts ,THERE,S THEM 2 XR2,S that were following me ealier.So we go over thinking that they were going to jack his car.Just 3 little CHAVS giving it large.They said "OH ,IT WAS JUST A JOKE "so my mate (BIG FAT STRONG LAD) SAID,"NO THIOS IS A JOKE " asnd proceeds to lift the XR2 on to it,s side,then onto it,s roof.At this point the other 2 CHAVS speed off in the other xr2 leaving there mate on his own.Then a crowd gathers and some cunt,sets FIRE to the seat and before you now it THIS POOR LAD IS WATCHING HIS NICE LITTLE XR2 IN FLAMES.And to top it all the POLICE have been parked in the corner of the ASDA watchin the lot and did FUCK ALL.

 

it was alot better yrs and yrs ago we started it when we use to have the mk1 rs and mk2 rs escorts lin the late 80's

we use to drive around the city center for a while and we use to park up @ digbeth car park for a chat about cars

after afew months as word got around more and more cars came along

then after a few yrs it got out of controll some peeps use to go there with stolen cars ripping the shite out of them then crashing them afterwards

driving like fooking loons

it was very good yrs ago before all this shite started as most were very sensible


don't get me wrong i use to give the Mk2 Rs a good pasting around there driving sideways every corner with control ZF lsd did help alot it wasn't clever but i was alot younger then and a bit stupid

all i go there now is to watch and when i'm leaving i'll warm the car and then give it a bit of stick (not all the time )

i might pop down next week to see whats going on just to watch the loons

Oh the esses, those were the days, i remember a metro hitting a scooby head on, and a week later a car trying to drive through the nat west bank on the corner.
It used to get silly, but it was fooking fun.

I STARTED GOING UP IN ABOUT 1994,JUST AFTER THEY CONVERTED THE CICUIT FROM ONEWAY INTO 2 WAY TRAFFIC.USED TO LAUGH WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENED OR THE OLD BIIL WOULD TURN UP.EVEYBODY WOULD BE RUNNING TO THEIR CARS TRYING TO BE THE FIRST ONE,S TO GET AWAY.IT WAS LIKE THE START OF THE (WACKY RACES.)EXCEPT WITH RIOT VANS ,POLICE CARS AND HELICOPTERS.

 

Yep that,s it .Was up 7 DAY AUTO,S about a year ago and they were both up on the ramps with COSSIE LUMPS still in tact.

I used to go down to the SS's many years ago... does anyone remember a silver mini with COOPER down the side.??

It had a 1480 full/race engine in it running a jack knight 4 speed close ratio gearbox. (Boy was that mini quick.??)

If you did well it was mine it was running 150 bhp and was shit hot.!!, used to race everyone and no one could touch me on the SS's, used to wind alot of peeps up as they could not catch me..??

The old trick round here is coppers turned up, we drive off, then find out the road leading out has been blocked off, and everyone is getting producers.

Luckily I was at the start of the queue, but people where there til 2am on a Monday night, just what you need.
