Respray - What Colour?!?!?
I've got a Diamond White Escort Cosworth thats in good condition throughout, but the paint is looking a bit dull and theres some stone chips and slight dings in various places, so I've decided I'm going to have her resprayed and the bodywork perfected, but I'm not sure what colour to have her done in.
Part of me would like to keep it white and keep it as it should be, but another part of me is saying have it done in a rarer colour (as these all look the best imo) like aubergine, moondust, or jewel violet, or maybe imperial (I love that colour) so I'm just wondering what any of you guys think I should do.
Its got to be a genuine Cosworth colour btw
Also the car has been completely delocked, posing a problem when the battery runs flat (like it just has
) so should I get the locks replaced back into the car, or maybe just the boot lock....
Cheers

I would of thought its worth more in its original colour m8 but if resale value isnt important 2 you like keeping it 4 a good few years go 4 it as long as the lot gets done bay shuts under kit and not just a blow over its not a problem go 4 it m8
I was thinking of having a bare shell done, so all shuts and the bay would be done, TBH I managed to get it quite cheap anyway so resale value isn't really a problem so just wondered what colour people prefer. Cheers m8
If it's got to be an original colour, then I'd go Mallard Green. But then I'm biased.
I I was ever going the colour change route, I'd get mine done in Halcyon Atlantis - a fantastic blue(ish) colour popular on TVRs.

Personaly i would stick to the original colour, becuase there will come a time when you will want to sell it, and questions will be asked over the sudden change of colour which will de-value it.
Also, you might not think too much to your colour at the min, but wait till its resprayed it will look mint!
Check out some concourse dimond white esc cossies at shows and you'll soon get a feel for mate

Yeah, I think I'm gonna keep it white now, one its gonna be cheaper, and two I think it'll show the curves up nicely when its sparkling. Been looking round some website at some concours ones and they look sweet. Cheers anyway everyone
