harsh throttle

Default harsh throttle

hi guys, i got a problem. Wen im holding high revs, and slow easy of the throttle, me car jerks . Im pretty sure its not supposed to happen lol.

most likely to be the dump valve if you have one fitted when your coming off the boost

do u suggets taking it off? what wud i replace it with, a recirc?

nothing!! just take it off and plug the hole with something! eg:broom handle or proper blanking bung

unless ur running big boost it makes sod all difference. The jerkyness is also due to the tps being a basically on off switch as well im pretty sure.

how much is big boost? im running 19 psi. (well was )

loads of people dont use dump valves and im sure their turbos are fine to be honest.I will be taking mine off as soon as i go efi, get the chatter on the go, sounds a million times better.

but mate, I heard that chatter is the turbo stalling.

same but then again ive got friends with turbo cars and their turbos last ok given the abuse they get. I dont think its a big issue so long as the car has good oil and you tke reasonable care of the car

u don't need it mate, from wot i gather the t3 turbo is tough as old boots if treated well and deosn't require a dump valve
