on way home yesterday car infront of car infront of me slowed down suddernly to turn right,managed to slow down in time but the car behind me didnt then smack straight into the back of me causing me to catch car infront

I had this situation in feb this year. Sitting at lights behind two cars, some twat speeding doesnt brake in time, hits in the back of me pushing me into the car infront. My insurance wouldnt pay the people in front as I had the handbrake on and the guy behind caused the accident, they referred the people in front to the person who caused the accident.

 

well i work for a body repair garage so having work done aint gonna be a prob but its gonna go throu insurance as the quote i have got is in the Ł1000's,wouldnt know it by looking at it but with damage to both front and rear and with labour/parts etc etc it soon mounts up

 

insurance have told me its gonna be a total loss now

end of the line for J123 RAC



so once i get a pay out the hunt for a replacement is on!

 

Can you buy it back and rebuild it yourself at work? Not sure if you get the option on the salvage?

If I had the same I'd be using my car as a donor for a mad project - onwards and upwards as they say!

Shit news mate, happened to me in my old saff. Took it to work to show it off and some bint in a Jeep rammed in the back of me at the lights whist playing with the kiddies in the rear.

I was gutted but it wasn’t a total loss even though the repairs were over 2k.
