Hi, i've just sold my Cossy and want to either transfer the plate to my Evo or keep it on retention, i've never had a plate before so in easy steps whats my options now. Do i go to Dvla office ? What do i need, shall i keep my Cossy Log book till i get evo logbook or what ?

Go to DVLA office, take documents, tax discs, etc for both cars and hand over money. Either that or hand over paper work for car reg is on and say you want it on retention, hand over money and bobs your uncle, simple

 

go to the dvlas site and order the relevent forms, pay your money Ł110 i think ( did it 2 months ago )

dont let the new owner have the car untill you have all the details sent off, then checked and recieved or its legally his!

Also they might want to see the car! happened to me ( cunts )

 

excactly like they said dont get rid of car until completed it usually takes about 2 weeks and both cars have to be taxed
