back in june i went for a taxi driver job only one that come up really after meeting the guy that own's firm he agreed to give me the job.

anyway it took 5 weeks for my hackney badge to come durin that time
when i wasnt working for him i was working up my workshop i was welding
grinding hammering etc so alot of noise.

anyway here goes

i missed his call i got answer phone message saying barry if you cant be
botherd to pick up your fooking phone there is no point in me giving you
a job now pic up the fooking phone before i sack you before you start.

i rang him back and i still had abuse down the phone.........

anyway i start the job the first 2 weeks was great but then look out he
told me i have to answer the phone's and do the pick up's and drop off
i told him i cant drive down the road answer the phone and drive plus
take booking's at the same time it's ilegall dont care was his words do
it,,,,,,,,,

time goes by im getting very little sleep i allmost fell asleep at the
wheelone day and i told him that is it im of home ive been working
for 14 hour's

to cut the very long story short,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,


another 3 weeks went by he was allways late for peaple but instead
of getting them himself i had to go then i get the shit for being late
but it's him pushing bookings in between nothing to do with me.

time went by he was going to get more driver's id never seen
anyone else work with us full time, we never had any tidy radio equipment and was allways answering our phone's to find out
where we was going next.

he went on holiday 4 weeks ago before he went he said dont panic i
have someone else to answer the phone's but what happend just before he went on holiday i ended up doing the fooking lot and running his buisness for him i was bloody fumming

after so many problems with some piss heads i told him he needs to do nights as im sick of waiting for peaple that dont come out of pubs he
spoke to me and said barry you have to do nights as my marrige is on
the rocks i stuck to night's and even left him go away with his family
on holiday but got shit on

2 weeks ago we called it a day i was pissed of with being treated like a door mat and not only that on the last weekend i worked he rang me and
said where the fook are you, i said was having a piss,, his reply no your
not where the fook are you i put the phone down on him.

he never paid me my last pay of around £280
he still owe's me £180 on top for other work

now he is telling peaple for example after thay ask where i am

he was a useless cunt
he was never on time
i sacked the fucker
he was allways going on and fucking moaning
he's a tosser

now then where do i stand i wasnt on the books an i was self employed

 

tbh nowhere mate, not on the books you got no rights as far as i know. bit shitty but its a risk you take for cash in hand work

 

he has to log everything down anyway but i have been told to report him
to head office of who is in charge with the hackney and he my have to shut down

 

report him .. sounds like a lazy power hungry twat to me ... probably was the school bully aswell ...
personally i would have told him to go and fuck himself after his arrogant you cant be bothered to answer your fone to me shit

 

I OWNED MY OWN TAXI FIRM, TWO HACKENY TAXIS AND TWO PRIVATE HIRE AND A MINI BUS FOR SCHOOL CONTRACTS, I OWNED IT FOR TEN YEARS BEFORE SELLING UP, I KNOW HOW HARD IT CAN BE, I WAS 24HR SERIVCE AND I KNOW HOW EXHAUSTING IT IS, YOU VE GOT TO BE WILLING TO PUT THE HOURS IN TO GET THE MONEY IN RETURN, I HAD FOUR DRIVERS AND EACH ONE WAS WELL LOOKED AFTER, IF YOU LOOK AFTER THE DRIVERS THEY WILL LOOK AFTER YOU, THEY WERE PAY WELL, AND WE ALL HAD A GOOD LAUGH. WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT MAN SHOULD NEVER HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU LIKE THAT, AND YOU SHOULD HAVE GOT PAYED FOR THE WORK YOU DONE, IF HE SPOKE TO ME LIKE THAT FROM THE FIRST CALL, I WOULD HAVE TOLD HIM TO STICK IT, THE MORAL OF THIS STORY IS YOU SHOULD TREAT PEOPLE AS YOU WOULD WANT TO BE TREATED.

just keep good look out in local papers mate something will come up


try window cleanin in the mean time, just to get some cash in!
