Default Who on here has a O2 online contract?

this is the 2nd time ive decided to go with o2 for a contract and just like last time im gettin fucked off already i get 750 mins free and i get 750 text for £35 a month yet somehow my first bill come thru for like a hundred quid. i did think yea, ive used it alot but....

what pisses me off is i can never seem to work out wen i get my free minutes again and free messages. its crazy. im scarred to use the bloody fone now not wanting a big bill and unsure if ive used all my mins and texts up.

ring them..they'll tell you they can't get your account on the screen so can't tell you when your minutes/texts start..but they can tell you when your next bill will come through..oh, how helpful

oh yea, how could i forget to not put this in my rant. i log on just nw to look thru my bill so far and view my unbilled calls etc and the site is temporarily down for 'improvements'. i can remem with my old contract this happening alot of the time. also, wen i managed to get on there earlier, it hasnt been updated coz they took the money out for my last bill on thursday yet according to the site they havent yet. its an absolute joke. to make matters worse, i went on a 18month contract this time as it meant gettin the fone i really wanted for free plus the big ammount of 'free' texts and calls

Yeh..im looking for a new 12month contract
if it makes you feel any better all the networks are the same..my mum was with orange (and i used to be) and they were even worse..they used to accuse you of sending texts abroad..best was when i apparently texted somebody in france like 20 times on one date at 5am..firstly I wouldnt text anyone in france (I've never had a french lesson in my life, what would I say, lol)..secondly if i did I wouldn't deny it...thirdly..5am? lol

Bahhh!!

One day we'll find out all phone companies are run by the government and it'll all fall into place why they are charging us so much...

i dont like o2 after all of my bills i had

as soon as they send you the email for your monthly bill and send the letter the next load of minutes and texts come through.

Took me quite a while to figure out how to reasd and understand the online bill thing, you just check it as you go along, but it tells you how much you have gone over and how much you have to pay and how much you owe from previous months etc etc

I have never had a problem with 02 online, just started my second year with them and they sent me a brand new phone without having to change my tariff.

Im on a good contract which they dont do anymore. £20 a month, 500 text and 300 off peak mins. I dont really use my phone during the day so it works out at like £30 a month max.

I check how many mins I've got left online, its normally updated every 48 hrs. The site is a bit confusing though with stupid terms like 'unbilled usage' and some of the numbers dont add up but its best contract I have had.

Although my mate has had no end of problems with them so think it is luck of the draw. Hope you get it sorted. Ring them up and shout at someone, you might not get anywhere but you will feel better about it!

Check the email they send you with your bill amount on, it also explains on the email that the first bill you get will be more than normal.

Ive had my online contract for over 7 years now, haven't actually logged on to view my bill in detail for about 5 years as I cant remember the log in details, but my bill has always been spot on to the amount i've used it.

Cant fault them to be truthful, but then i've not had to speak to them for years so dunno if thats good or bad lol

I'm into my 4th year with O2 and have no complaints with them whatsoever. When I joined them 4 years ago, I was on a 'special offer' tariff - for £20 a month I got 500 free texts, 500 off-peak minutes to landlines & other O2 mobiles and also 50 off-peak mins to any mobile. I upgraded again last May and after some haggling, I now only pay £9.95 a month but had to go on a different tariff..... 1000 off peak mins to landlines/other O2 mobiles and 1000 free texts only.

Also when I upgraded, I asked them to check back through my account as I thought that I was being charged for MMSs. It appears that I was and so my bills since upgrading have been these massive amounts May £9.95 - June £0.00 - July £0.00 - Aug £1.33 & Sept £6.59

When it was time for Andy to upgrade in June, he also got the £9.95 tariff but because he didn't want a new phone, they have given him £75 to offset against his bills.

With o2, your free calls begin on the date you get your bill. In my case this is the 16th of the month. Your free texts begine 2 days before this, so the 14th of the month.

And remember you always pay double line rental on your first bill.
