anybody from malta on here?
as i know there are lots of car nuts over there
and apparently lots of 70's fords still on the roads
anything good happening in early november?
any drag racing still going on or is it summer only?
gonna go for a week to have a look around
and what's the local food like? what local stuff should be tried

i have a mate at work who is maltease, he went out there last week to see familly, he said he woudl keep look out and take pics of any decent fords
its such a small island 6 mile by 19 or something
HE DIDNT SEE A SINGLE one
just loadsa hi and drys etc
they must be all tucked away for some reason???!!
i rekon performanceford just flew em out there for a feature

There are lots of Ford's out there you just have to look for them a bit harder now.
I went out a few years back and again this year and the difference in the roads (which were crapper than crap then) and the number of Mk1 Escorts and Capri's just parked up that were still being used as a daily runners is quite obvious.
Apparently there are lots of UK, European and Australian car dealers buying containers full of old Ford's taking them home and selling them on for a mint.
Food is fine, the people are great, it's dead cheap, weather's usually good... head to St Julian for the nightlife
