The last bullet proof porsche they have build.
I think this car would murder any car this board.

Just out of curiosity, What is it about that porsche that makes it the fastes or murder anything on here?

I see a nice porker.. and a speedo that shows about 120 MPH. Any other info?

 

Probably the claimed top speed of 250.4mph

That was my thoughts too. Smit's speedo was higher than that

Most of the mods would give a healthy increase but without specs/names, its hard to know unless everything on it is bespoke.

Definately interested in seeing some more details or even a clip.

Seen this car before on the m5board. he uses it to take place in Gumball type events in the US I believe.

250mph is a HUGE claim.... not sure it could do it I am afraid! any proof??

Don't forget there is a car on here that there are 2 or 3 users of this board with PROVEN 9 second 1/4 mile ROAD legal cars that will properly do 8's soon.

With the tuning possibilities of the engine and the aerodynamics of a 993 I wouldnt rule it out completely but then 250 is a hell of a claim!

If a Porsche cant beat mine thats their prob not mine, Mine is Fastest Sierra RS Cosworth & thats all ive ever claimed.

However i await the guys name as if its who I think it is these speeds plus a 241 at Brunters are claimed with under 700bhp. Remember the guy that didnt show against mine.
However if its a genuine speed & it has the appropriate Power thats an incredible achievement & congrats.

Don't forget that porsches are real fast when tuned.
This graph is from a highly tuned porsche 996 tt tuned by promotive.
This car will slay most cars it's has raced even against motorbikes.
How about from 60 to 130 mph in 4,4 seconds.
I believe birdman just to post on the bmw forum dtmpower i don't kown if he still posting their.
Anyway the car is mostly used for events like playersrun or gumball.
He did enter this years gumball whit the porsche.

I kown it's pointed on the 120 mph mark but it will go much faster,
Anyway that is not the full speed it can reach.
That is like walking pace for such a car.
Speedo go's to 200 mph but it think it will go much faster than 200 mph.
I can believe the 252 mph claim.
I am not stupit just a bit tired.

im not saying it isnt fast but 252 is a big clame what are the ratios of the gear box as it will top out way before that on a standard box

 

800 hp porsche will be pretty fast 200 mph will be a very easy for this car.
This has nothing to with my driving lesson.
I never come much in cafe's maby you visite one smit.
If it could find a very long straight road and has the correct gearing 252 mph can be done.
I don't now the gearing this car.

 

Only point I can make is that if you look closely it appears that the back of the rev counter needle is inline with about 3k pulling the 120mph shown....

Sorry lads the maths : if a car needs 670bhp to reach 200mph it will require 1310bhp to reach 250mph . Gearing will mean more Power will be required to get their in the same distance cos it will have too pull much taller gearing.

Lets not doubt this claim untill we have the full facts.

 

what would rods pull on a "very long strait road" after all he is doing it on a relitively short bit tarmac?

will the porker need as much bhp as that tho rod as it is more aerodynamic?

Porsches have very low aerodynamic drag.
If you have a better aerodynamic shap you need less horsepower for the same speed.
If you have very low drag and get the same horsepower you will have a higher topspeed.

so how close to max rpm is max speed obtained
cos you could have double the BHP but if the car tops out at 193mph as standard then it wont get much if any more out out of the modded one it will just get there faster

 

If you change the final gear ratio for something more that is suited to topspeed it will go a easy 200 mph+.
Anyway porsche turbo engines are highly tunable.
