I've been to look at a couple XR2s recently as i want one to track day.

Every one i have seen has been a complete rust bucket.

I'm pretty handy with a welder and don't mind putting a couple of patches on but some of the cars I've seen have more inner wing missing than they have left!

Am i looking for the impossible??

 

there are some still left out there,just trying to buy them and finding them.

keep an eye on ebay,pop up on there.

Doug try getting an XR2 thats built in the late 80's, might be easy to get a shit XR2 & a poverty model fiesta & swap all the bits over
