just bought this second hand and the thing has a mind of its own??

ive used the same model loads of times of my mate so i thought id get one .

i put the destination in , hit go, it works the route out and then starts . the problem is it starts going along as if im driveing?????

im still sitting outside my house but the device has got me driving up the road and along the route lol. but i start driving and i cant catch it up then all of a sudden it picks up where i am but the route info disappears and all it does is show where i am ????? fookin useless at the moment to me but ive tried all the settings etc and i just cant figure out wot is going on??

also in the bottom right hand corner where it tells you the distence to turn etc it keeps flashing up SIM ???

ive turned it off and on loads of times and took the fookin memory card out but its still the same .

anyone help .............. pls ........

Only joking try reloading the software on the SD card.

 

is it in simulate mode to show you your route?

 

i think youve got it mate . cos it keeps flashing up sim in the corner but how do i turn that function off ????

 

You must be in simulation mode.

1.Go to the Main Menu

2.Go to Settings

3.Go Routing

4.Press the Next Page button twice

5.Untick all options.

6.Press the House button

7.Save new settings.
