What to do with the cossie over winter??
This will be my first winter with the cossie. I only plan to take it out on very dry days to keep everything lubricated etc. Can anybody offer advice for things I should do to stop potential problems once next spring comes.
The car is garaged, and I currently leave it parked in gear with the handbrake off and a chuck against each tyre to stop it moving.
Anything else I should be doing???
Thanks in advance.

my car gets put up over winter every year, i would get it on axel stands if ya can to stop the tyres deforming, but befor you do give it a good clean and wax, vac and then a small run to clear sitting water, get a battery conditioner and if you can get a dehumidifier ( worth there weight in gold for winter storage ) once or twice a month run it up to temp and run it slow in gear ( make sure it cant move and the wheels are off / off the ground ) and bring it on boost using the brakes..... it may sound a bit much
but change the oil befor you put it back on the road and it will be as good as when you took it off....
best of luck

give it a good coat of wax to stop the frost geting at it put some airfreshener in side to stop it smelling of damp start the car once a week
and keep the battery charged if you are not going to use the car at all
by a battery conditioner it stops it going flat
