good post! my turbo hasnt been on road since bein painted and its covered in a thick layer of dust coz i didnt wana wash it with a sponge as the thought of starting off the dreaded swirl marks lol. gonna have to get my mum to go buy me a feather duster lol
just pull the car out the garage and get a bucket of very soapy water and soak/splash it all over once it's soaked use another bucket of soapy water and a sponge/glove and wash the car as you nornally would!

Smokestone shows every f******g dust particle.
Get a valeting duster brush. It is 100% cotton with wax baked onto the strands and is guaranteed not to mark any paintwork. Use it on mine and has never left a swirl mark.

Paul: Go for a quick drive (in the dry) then rinse with copious amounts of water or squash a sponge over it t oremove the film. Just don't rub it with the sponge otherwise it will scratch it for deffo.
