Default 'S' Plate Series 2!?

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/97929.htm

Another late registered RS Turbo!

Are these actually worth anymore money?

I think it was someone off here bought that K Plate Series 2 the other day and thats been advertised everywhere!

Seems silly that an S reg S2 (late registered or what ever) would have a pre 90 spec rear wing.

manufactured in 88, therefore worth a pre-90spec price + a little bit imo

1990-h would be worth more in my eyes

Agreed

Registered in 98, built in 88, still 10 years old before it got driven. I'd pay more for a late grey H plater TBH.

Cheers

Matt

If you click the link to the website and select sold you can see that they have had plenty of RS's previously. Has anbody of here dealt with them. The cars look to be in good condition.

Might be worth a bit more, but it is still a used RS turbo. In this case it is 8 yrs used, 50k miles.
Hardly still 'show room'. Not worth so much extra IMO. I'd rather pay extra for a well modded and well maintained example, not some gimmic 'S' plate registration.

Car is definately not worth what they want for it, i'd knock that down to about 3.5k to be realistic.

Think it's Day of Grace who are selling it arnt they? They have some lovely cars in and have some sold some gorgeous RS's, they have in, or had in a mint White RS500 the other day!

Thing is with the garage's they all want stupid money, there was a 105k C Plate Series 1 on there the other day and it was £5,995! Fuckin wouldn't give 3k for it! Never worth it, my was cheaper and in concourse condition!

ST24Lad What ya give for that K Plater mate? Not silly money I hope!

This car has come up before. It was registered in Jersey or Guernsey in 1988, and brought back to the mainland in 1998. It appears the DVLA assigned it an S plate in error.

So really its just a ordinary 1988 S2 with an "incorrect" plate.
