Default how much is my cossie worth? will be selling ***UPDATE***

1990 G-reg 2WD Sapphire Cosworth in Flint Grey. I have previous MOT's, tax discs, service history, few other bits and bobs. almost 106k miles, runs great, no problems!

Good all round condition in and out, original stereo and amp. Car is complete standard spec except where stated. Also exhaust has been replaced with a full stainless Magnex system.

2 quotes please, 'as is' for quick and 'done up' for long term.

As is:
Bumper is mercury grey, has wrong water bottle (it works) and a K&N filter. Larger dump valve. Has small bit of rust on both rear doors by the window. Other bit of rust starting to show on offside rear arch. No MOT, failed only due to handbrake not being good enough and having temp fuel cap (easy to resolve).

Done up:
Bumper sprayed flint grey, rear doors made good. Correct washer bottle and original air filter box. Original dump valve put in. (Making it fully original spec except exhaust).

What do you think, worth doing? I may go with 'done up' but not do rear doors. Obviously the bumper is the big issue.

Car is in my sig, but imagine mercury (I think) bumper.

£3k for a rusty multicoloured car with no MoT? I don't know about that.

Hi, here's pics I currently have of the cossie, at bottom.

A little under 106K miles, 4 previous owners (including me I believe, can't check as V5 is in the car).

Car is standard spec, i.e. not chipped, bigger turbo etc, as most are found. This however has a full stainless Magnex exhaust system, and currently under the bonnet has a larger dump valve (louder), K&N air induction kit, and a washer bottle from a 4WD Sapphire. I am supplying it with the correct washer bottle, standard air filter box and dump valve so it can be put to fully standard. Interior is in very good condition, only tiny split on right of drivers seat in usual place, only about 3/4 of an inch. Due to the heat wave we had some of the vinyl on the door cards has pulled away, it's not very bad and is easily fixed as it pulls back to position and just needs evosticking (I haven't had the time). Has original Ford stereo and amplifier (new speakers fitted). Alarmed and immonbilizer.

Body is in good shape. Only bits of rust are as stated in pics and not a big deal, could be done by an amateur bodyworker I believe. Bonnet has usual small stone chips, but are very small and don't even show up on pic. Bonnet is not flint grey, believed maybe Mercury grey.

That's is really for things worth nothing, she is a very nice cossie!!!! But I can't justify having her, I have no garage or driveway and now am moving to two wheels so I don't have to pay and display every day at work.

If she doesn't sell as is, will get all the work done but that may take a while and to be honest most of it could be done by an enthusiast themselves!

Was offered £3k by a random guy at Kempton Park BP, however he said wont have money for 2 months, I want to sell sooner than that. Therefore will consider offers on £3k as is.

Cheers

Adam

Pay £45 for MOT provided it passes, and £3k shouldn't be a problem.
