Default Quick question about painting.

Few of you might have seen I've been painting my new Morettes. I've got a thread in restorations for it. Need to know though how long after painting can I rub the runs down?

Sorry for starting another thread just worried I might need to rub the runs that have happened now than later on?

How soon should I rub them out and spray over?

Cans are ok to flat down within the hour, if its touch dry, then use a very light wet 'n' dry

about 400/600 grit

If the paint starts to 'roll' stop and leave it, dont try and make it better, Leave it another hour

Just dont get runs..... that means you have applied to much product.

With cans just give light coats, do 7 or 8 coats ,then 2000 grit wet and dry ,then G3 polish

I have since rubbed the runs down and re painted the areas, whats causing the dusty feel to the paint? Not painting close enough? Not painted enough yet?

light coverage.... dont worry about that, keep applying light coats, built them up ,then 200 wet and dry with soap in the water, then polish it!

Thanks,

Just rubbed one down with 1500 and its got rid of all the peel. However its exposed some primer in places, not bothered really will just make the next coat go on super smooth. HOPEFULLY.
