i've just spent 2 weeks in the Aventura Spa Palace in Mexico, absolutely EVERYTHING all inclusive, no children it was luxurious bliss! think the web address is www.sparesorts.com
It was awesome, we both worked our nuts off to afford wedding / honeymoon so we didn't do much, just sat by the pool (sun loungers were partially submerged!) and the waitresses just brought me beer all day! we did swim with dolphins which was an awesome experience, other than that we had no need to leave, although they do lay on a free bus to any of the other palace resorts up the east coast that you can use all inclusive too

i'd love to swim with the dolphins
Youmight also like the all inclusive tequila, Bacardi, brandy and whisky in our room!

Egypt You can get a fantastic pre arranged 2 week tour of the 'best bits' through Kuoni Tour Operators. Accomodation is all 5*, includes a mini nile cruise and there are no words to describe the sites you get to see and the service you get.
Alternatively if you're not into the site seeing thing and just want a 5* relaxing holiday with fantastic Scuba & Snorkeling reefs then Hurgada in Egypt has huge hotel resorts with private beaches and private islands, I can personally recommend The Marriot. I was lucky enough to see Dolphins & a Sea Turtle whilst snorkeling in the middle of the Ocean, breath taking doesn't even cover it

We've just come back from Vegas... fantastic place even if you arent a gambler. plenty to do and see. Took a helicopter ride over the hoover dam and then set down in the grand canyon for a champagne lunch (with a couple of mexicans who drunk FAR too much tequila lol). Weather is great all year round as you would expect being in the desert. its a very dry arrid heat out there though. Would definately go back, just wouldnt fly with United ever again... but thats a whole different story!
Thailand is very nice. very different culture, but once you settle into it and find your feet, its a great place, people are really nice and its a beautiful country in places. Bangkok is very hectic though lol!
Australia is worth a visit too. but you'll need more than a couple of weeks to take in everything over there. SO much to see. i didnt have time to do everything when i was over there so hopefully Cola and myself will be going over next year to see Pops and some more sites!
New York is a good place to go, but being a city you can come back more tired than when you left lol!
Ive not been on a safari holiday, but its on my list of places to go. i would imagine thats would be like being on a different planet lol!

But Luxor is great for relaxing / some site seeing. Esna is ok, but a bit mad (not Cairo mad tho). I fell in love with Hurgada after spending the last 3 days of our holiday there, the town itself is like desert with the odd building site, but the coastline is dotted with some of the most amazing hotel complexes I've ever seen.
Ive seen Niagra falls as well. Best side to see it from is definately the canadian side. If you are on American soil you cant go down the back of the falls, which is a sight to behold! Canada is SOOOO clean its unreal. Other than having a similar accent to the americans, its a very different country. For the better i would say.
5 Days in New York is probably enough to see what you need to see and do some shopping. Its very tiring on the legs lol!
You can see Thai boxing anywhere in Thailand, regardless of what town you're in. Same with ladyboys
they're everywhere!
Until recently i never fancied japan/tokyo, but im coming round to it now. dont think i could stay ther for long though, it looks too manic.
I dont have pics on this laptop, but when i get home i'll post up a few of the hoover dam and the grand canyon. they are only 2 weeks old
Im with you on seeing things around the world though. My days of 'avin it' in Beefer are well and truly numbered lol. i would much rather spend my hard earned on travelling a bit and seeing cool stuff
