Default spending money on the FSRT while its SORN.

this has only really popped into my mind-

my fiesta rs turbo has been off the road since november 2004, i have kept all the SORN to proove this.

now from may 2006 to the present time i have spent quite a bit on the car for new genuine ford parts as i have some £££- on loads of niggly bits from fords- nuts + bolts etc. blades, original OE ht leads, new turbo oil return, new oil feed bolt, fuel filter + other genuine ford parts.

say for instance i came to sell the car in a couple of years or so, would you be suspisious or wary that i have spent £££ even if it was off the road during this time if you happen to notice?? i have all the mileage on the reciepts.

or am i worrying too much over nothing? car is on 47k.

no makes perfect sense to spend money on it whilst its off the road, proves that its been kept in good condition and looked after regardless of cost

I had mine off the road due for two years and couldnt take it to get mot'd in those two years due to unforseen circumstances...but iv got all other mots.

i spent money on parts whilst it was sornd, to do the same things as youve done....(little washers, header tank, even new 16" rims which i knew i wouldnt be using for some time..

People buy on condition aswell as mileage mate, so i wouldnt worry bout it at all, if youve taken the time to improve your car then it shows u aint messing people about...

i reckon i could sell mine in its condition with no mots or service history (but i wouldnt, u get wot im saying tho)

There's nothing to be worried about.
