One of my mates off the Capripower site is trying to organise a meet at Scotch Corner [A1/A66 Junction] on Saturday 7th October at 2pm. I am going in my Cossie and just wondered if anyone else fancied a trip ?? It will be in the services car park

 

in the end it was a good turn out there was 18 cars in total there were mostly capris 2 mark 1 escorts focus rs my cossie n a transit mark 2 with a v6 cossie lump in it was a good day gonna try n plan another meet soon keep you informed

 

I've just found this...bit late I'd be interested in going up for a meet at some point so will try to remember to check this thread out

 

yeh mate just keep an eye open i think the next one might be next year now cause most peoples cars will be going into hiding cause of the winter

 

Great timing on my behalf then I was still fishing mine out in the snow in December last year to go to Croft and the like

yeah i know its a while to wait but the new year will soon be here. will hopefully be organising another meet so if youve got any more mates with fords tell them to come along, the more the merrier. wil see about getting some cars on a stand at the croft rs show next year, i had my cossie and my mates capri on an autoglym stand this year.

 

Well I got an email reminder about this thread, so that's a good start I was meant to be at Croft today watching the Rallycross, but woke up to see heavy horizontal rain and decided to give it a miss. Aiming to watch the Supercross next Sunday though

I didn't even know when the Croft RS day was this year, would've been there had I known! We'll see what happens next year then eh?

 

You have to go to the croft rs show, one of best shows of the year imo!
