bonnet won't close

Default bonnet won't close

just opened my bonnet to take the batterey out and it wont close. its dark so i cant realy see wots going on but it feels like the disk that compresses the spring has moved. should it just push back up or will it close if i just put pressure on the bonnet dont wanna force it cos its going into the garage on wednesday any way. but any ideas and ill give it a go in the morning. cheers

on mine the clip for the cabl had come off. just cable tied it back on till i put a new cable on.

have you adjusted the bonnet catch lately? cos if you have it could be slightly out

didnt chech thr cable but nothings been adjusted. ill just have to have a decent look in the morning.cheers

mine used to catch on the back of the fuse box cover and it would not shut, i just had to push it on properly, could be something as simple as that?
