what sort of shels do i use (hopefully ian howell built) im just going to buy all the parts i need to build myself a rapid 2.1 zetec turbo engine becouse i cant realy afford it all at once so i thaught why not get all the parts first & then give them all to sumone that knows what there doing (ian howell, fiesta frenzy/area six) cheers smits

 

i am not sure but i think ian does exactly the same rods, but cheaper.

i had some off him but cant recall what i paid

 

it said put in a bid so i said 280 quid, does he do them cheeper then that???

 

either 300 or 350. if its 350 sure he will sort the shells so taking away any confusion

think its std shells anyway

checked me receipt and they were £400 but that was complete with everything i needed

so £350 aint a bad price but leaves you with the shell confusion

 

I dont know if I am right on this but alot of eagle zetec rods from the states are for the blacktop zetec, The blacktop rods are longer than the silvertop plus if you import them they are about £150
