Default S2 Suspension??

Ok well i got a little bit of dosh to spend on the S2 but not MEGA bucks as thats going into the engine pmsl

I want some springs/shockers or even just springs on the s2, at the mo it doesnt sit low enough, but is also REALLY bumpy/harsh, so I need advice on which springs and maybe shockers are best to get??

I will be sitting her on 17s so how much would you recomend lowering her by, I obviously dont want her to catch, but dont want her to sit high either lol

Ideas please if you will

ive got konis, stiff ride but corners well. recommend them. found a kit for 360 on special offer but make sure you get new bump stops and i think you can get deflex or powerflex top mounts for a little bit extra. think im right in saying that.

if your gonna put 17's on then i wouldnt go much lower than a 30mm drop! also if you want to retain some comfort use Jamex shocks as they improve the handling but are not that harsh

30mm drop and avoid G-Max shit more than you would dipping male genitals in a piranha tank at feeding time.

If you don't want a harsh ride fitting 17's probably isn't what you want to be doing.

Koni's are pretty much the best there is and beleive me you don't want something that handles like a banana. You could try new standard dampers and a set of lowering springs (again no more than 30mm).

Got Gmax on the cabby and they are a defo no no, i nearly bounce out the roof when i hit a bump

defo putting 17s on as i got the wheels already pmsl!!! I know it's going to be fairly harsh but dont want to add to it with shite springs....so its basically billstein or konis

Thanks very much

If you want a suspension setup that's sporty yet not too harsh you could also ring the guys at "JMS-Fahrzeugteile" here in Germany. Heard a lot of good things about them. Prices are reasonable aswell...
