what you guys think? it's got a t66 turbo and a motec system exhaust! LOL j/k it does have a t66,4 inch exhaust from the turbo back,haltech eng mgmnt, big ic..and other stuff!

mustang/merkur only and defo not a pinto, none of bits are interchaingable unfortunatley

 

yep, not a pinto, it's a lima. yeah, unfortunatley the bits aren't exchangeable! we would be putting on cossie heads!..BTW he is also the first one here to have a running 16v head on a XR using a volvo head.

with power like Phil's and Hugh's - who needs those pesky Cossie engines, anyway!!??

My next project is getting a LHD Sapphy shell and putting a Merkur engine in it, Fastmaul!!

I like his boost controller (can anyone else see it? ) i got one here the same.

Croppy- External wastegates make no difference to any noise mate unless it was running a screamer pipe, and hardly any do, and no way of telling from these pics. If u thinking "chatter" then that dont come from the wastegate.

And yup, looks like a pinto but not, its a Lima

But how come none of u lot have bought a cossie engine and fitted it? As wouldnt it be easier and cheap to get 500hp out of a cossie engine?

There are some of us that do have cossie engines, but as far as being cheaper...NOT!! I see that some of you guys say that you've paid Ł5k for a rebuild!..that would be about $8k for us! and then there's shipping that shit over. and a lot of these XR owners are old cheap Bastaids...LOL. I can spend about $3/$5k and have that same Cossie devouring power. But, it's still not a cossie. there are about 25-30 real cosworths over here. 90% of them being Escorts .

RS gus..I'll let that slide cause XR4tiMan said the cossie's were pesky. But We Never Got the RS so while you think XR's are shat, that's exactly what this car will do to you.

LOL...it's either North Carolina, or South Carolina. I've passed thru there..nothing exciting for me...nice in the summer for the beaches I guess.

And beachs! sounds good! lol Just When i go to the US for a Year its either Boston, South Florida or Carolina but i havent heard anything about Carolina. Quite fanncy Boston as NY is only down the RD and i luv NY lol

I might be going to the shop today, I'll see if i can get some more picts of the car. the inside is stripped. I'll ge some outside piccys..the one's that I have are just of the front with snow on it. I'll let him know you guys like the car! He'll be very pleased hearing that from the cossie folk
