i have just baught an unfitted evolution chip off of e-bay it comes with a -31 acctuator but the lad says its for a hearts & diamonds ecu, i have a series 1, c reg, so do you think it will fit in my rs turbo? i could have a look at the ecu myself but the cars at the body shop just now. thanx smits

 

no it will not run right the hearts & diamonds ecu is off a 90 spec series 2 rs turbo with a knock sensor the s1 did not come with a knock sensor

 

just a quicky, where is the knock sensor located on a 90spec s2?

 

its on the right side of the plenum chamber without it it will just retard your timing and you cant fit one to your series 1 loom as its not got the wiring for it
