Howdy, I was compelled to register and post on here today because of something that happened last night.
I was about to jump in for a shower until I realised I had nearly ran out of shampoo I was going to wait until today and go to the shops after I finished work but I wanted a shower so fuck it I threw on my jacket and helmet got the bike out the garage and headed to Asda in Hamilton. Just as I left the Asda car park I seen a few modified cars going into a car park and decided I would go take a quick look and see what was happening, nothing was the answer so I headed back out and headed home, got to a set of traffic lights and their was a Silver MK5 Fiesta in front of me, the lights turned amber and he pulled away like it was the start to an F1 Grand Prix, I was not going to take the bait and go after him by racing through a busy town centre.
At the next set of lights there was a car in between me and Schumacher and again he pulled away like a madman. This went on for a few miles him booting it and me catching up with him at junctions and traffic lights. Once we got out of the town centre their was a roundabout which had a long straight which lead to another roundabout, before we got to that straight I noticed him pointing at his boost gauge and then he booted it away along the straight I opened the throttle a bit and pulled along side him while he was giving it his all, by that time though I had to slow down as we were running out of road and heading onto a roundabout at nearly a ton.
The round about was fairly big which had near enough 90 degree turns at each corner that you couldn’t see round because it had trees and a concrete column in the middle of it, the bloke driving the fiesta hardly slowed down and kept going at the same speed near enough and half way round the roundabout he almost crashed into the back of another car.
He then took the same exit as me on the round about.
Now he had been flashing his hazards at me aswell most of the way just before he’d put the foot down and he did it again once we left the roundabout it was then I thought “fuck it, I’m gonna rip this guy a new asshole” I dropped down into 1st gear and sat on his rear bumper waiting on him to do his launch again but all he did was make hand gestures at me and then pulled over to let me by?!?! :S what was that about? perhaps you could tell me why you didn’t do what you had done for the previous 5miles? Was it maybe because you heard the roar of the engine when it was about to be driven in anger? And do you really think your car is going to be faster than a GSXR 1000?

This happened between Hamilton and Blantyre. Anyone know the guy I’m talking about or does he post on here? I’d like to laugh at him some more.

LOL!! Took u 5 miles to dismiss a mk5 fiesta on a Gixxer 1000?? Surely u could have just filtered infront of him at any of the sets of lights and left him to play on his own?

 

yea thats true but i was in no rush, thats why i kept catching up with him at traffic lights and junctions.

Sounds to me like he was just showing someone his car. It's blatently obvious he isn't going to want to play with a 1000cc gixxer.

 

i'm not moaning, just asking if he is on here because he was obviously trying to taunt me into a race and when i about to oblige him he wee'd his pants

 

I dont understand why people on bikes sit up your ass, especially if they weave about behind u and keep drifting into your blind spot!! People like that are asking to get knocked off IMO!!

You managed to stay behind him for so long should of just kept your patience and left him to his silly games in thinking he could take on a 1000GSXR bike

It's most likely one of those low comp van aitken things. Seen a few about. Chris humped a silver ZS in his XR2 not that long ago. Same area too. Puma engined if I remember right.

 

Trying to race a fiesta on a 1000cc superbike... did you give him a jolly old thrashing?
