Default Nice cheap areas to live close by the NEC

I just cannot afford neigh on £15 a day driving to and from work lol

Tied with the idea of getting a cheap diesel car, but even so, 1hrs travelling each way takes its toll after 3+ years.

SO, reckon my budget will be about 140k-150k, is there any decent areas close to the NEC?

Dont want no scut hole, but obviously cant afford a proper decent place.

Any advice welcome, as I havent a clue as to good areas round there

CHEERS!

Stuart..

I told ya.. come and live in North Solihull with me..

If you choose correctly 150k will get you an awesome bit of kit and it will have a large drive way 2-3 cars and a garage..
3 bed semi..

Prices can also only go up round here as they're knocking the pub down up the road and totally regenerating the poorer area's.
I've got all the plans and can show you..

As an example I can get to the NEC from my house in rush hour in 8 mins.
Its also off the flight path of the Airport so no noise.

If you go over towards Warwick you'll get less for your money but a nicer name etc.. also its more like 35-40 mins rush hour to get over there from near Tiffs.. simply because of going through Balsall Common and Kenilworth.

Now is the time to buy here.

Also you could look at Coleshill.. BUT you would get EVEN less for your money as its a Village.. or you could move out towards Nuneaton in one of the villages there.. problem with those is that during Rush hour the roads become clogged.

No thanks.. its on Parkfields... too near Park Hall school.. full of Chavs and kids, a shit dodgy pub, Speed bumps galore and more traffic than you can shake a shitty stick at.

In my opinion walk away... quickly.. I certainly wouldn't entertain living there.

You'd get more and a nicer house moving towards me more..

When you come over I'll explain the areas... and take you round where I think is a good area to buy..

Mate, if you can stretch yourself to £245K there are some new 2 bed flats being built in Dorridge

You wont EVER go wrong buying there & its only down the lanes to the NEC

"Cheap- in the sense that in Knowle you would normally expect that HOUSE to be considerably more money"
