hi i want to put a new engine in my car, just wanted 2 know which engine is the better choice, xr2i 1.6 cvh or the xr2i 1.8.

go with the zetec (1.8 16v) anyday... much better engines overall and pretty quick as well... if you can, find the 130ps version out of an XR3i mk5 or something similar... FRST power with no lag! Car looks ace matey.. keep up the good work

no way is the 1.6 more tunable than the 1.8 , the 1.8 is 130bhp standerd bolt a turbo a de comp plate and 10psi and will see a happy reliabe 200 bhp , dont for get theres no replacment for displacment
