When do you NEED to run a d/v?
i remember ppl saying the compressor wheel on the turbo can shatter or sheer off on T4 or higher equiped cars, but is it NEEDED? i was looking at a pic of Ruud racings sapphire and i cldnt see a d/v n that looks like a T7 or summit?

so true!think it would be daft to risk not running one on a T4 or similar spec turbo.
guess it also comes down to how much boost you run too. Personally I wouldnt risk not running one on a T34 or above (assuming its running high boost)
yea as i thought, jus listened to a know it all mechanic (or tuner, think he's a mechanic ) on a local cruise site say he's heard the build up of pressure is detrimental to the turbo (not at all
) and that all cars run d/vs. . .
