Default newbie help, just bought an RST

Hi people

just new to the site. I bought an RS Turbo last night.
However I have a problem with it. Runs good, smooth etc but when you open it full throttle is just closes down, if you hold the foot down it will hardly go over 1500 rpm, its like its on a VERY low rev limiter. it does it in any gear, its weird cause it runs sound apart from that - as I say, its only when its on FULL throttle

any suggestions would be mush appreciated

cheers

im lead to believe its standard mate, still has original amal valve etc no adjustable valves etc been added. Maybe get a boost gauge to check, or is there a better way?

just really need to fit it into your dash and pipe from it and t piece it into the left hand pipe that goes into your plenum chamber top on engine!
