My girlfriend is buying a frst on sunday, so a new project until i get my cossie in a few weeks

Yep it was vertually sold within 1 day of advertisment, i'm after a sapphire as i've been put on a budget as my other half need a car too, i have seen a few sapphire but i'm away for two weeks so i'll look when i get back.

 

that looks sooooo mint.can i ask,if your over half is getting a frst in a few weeks,then why didnt she just have that one cos its immaculate???

That was my car so the money that i made from that plus my saving buys my sierra, she buys her own.. it makes sence and stops aguements etc... anyway the car she is buying is a standard red frst in extremely good condition with the only mod being a s/s exhaust, i have a mint spare interior for it and it has an oppointment with the bodyshop after i get back off holiday so it will be mint, but i have a strange feeling she will get bored easy and want a new car after a couple of months so will then be up for sale.

white ones are so much better than the red ones which ALWAYS fade

i own a red frst mk3 aas a run about,They are def the worst colour,and i just abuse it because i hate it and wish i never bought it.i only go to work and back in it cos i hate driving it lol

 

She doesn't like white i'd got as far as i could without ruining it, the next stap was 2.1 16v zetec engine and T34.

Never bought the red one as the engine was poorly wouldn't boost and kept retarding and backfiring on 3psi. walked away.

Yep lorraine, 1 day on pistonheads and it sold 3.5k and has gone down to dorset.

Oh and when your mrs gets her Frst and you swap over the interior will you be selling the one left over?

 

Fiesta has been knocked on the head as it had an ecu - edis problem, also need fuel cap area and a few other bits so we walked, she is going to buy a clio 1.2 i think, and i´m toying with either a series one or a sapphire cos, i´m leaning toward the escort as it has more character the the sierra.

Will be buying one next week so i´ll post pics up when i get one.

Hi all, Well she made it back to sunny Dorset, 341 miles one way !!!, Averaged approx 35 mpg aswell I have posted before on here but had to change my username as I swapped e-mail address's and couldn't remember my old password ,

So my plans for the car are; off the road at the end of September, sort out a few little jobs, replace some parts, powder coat a few others, uprate the suspension, polybush as well, uprate the brakes (scary at mo.) Possibly up the power but to be honest for 8-9 psi it really flys ,
Will keep you all posted with pictures ect.
