It hurts to write this advert, I really really don't want to sell this car, but I have found myself in a position where the value of the car in cash, is a lot more useful to me at the minute...
So,
Its a 1992 325i, originally on a J plate, now on a NI plate meaning it is a 'dateless' personal plate, this will go with the car...
Brocade Red (Brokatrot, quite a rare colour)
2.5i, 6 Cylinder
Grey Leather Interior
Gruppe M Rep Induction Kit
Full Genuine M3 Kit, including rear spoiler
Lowered on Bilstein Shocks and Springs
Genuine M3 Rear Lights
Evo Splitter
ACS Type III Racing Reps, 18 inch, Falken tyres at the front, good amount of tread left, BRAND NEW, literally put on this week, Nexxens at the back.
Light Tint on all windows, never had a problem from the five-0, as they are not too dark, look just right IMO
JVC Single CD Head Unit, with aux adapter for iPod, Walkman phone etc.
Grey Leather Interior, with Black Vinyl Armrest
Chrome M Gearknob
Chrome Gearshift Surround
Chrome Window Switch Surrounds
Momo Millenium Evo Steering Wheel
Rear Headrests
Smoked Front Indicators
Smoked Side Repeaters
The car has done 129,000 miles, and has been regurlarly serviced by my mechanic whilst in my ownership, but, as this is a friend of the family, there are no stamps in the book for this. But I assure you it has been done.
History that I can provide:
05/11/1992 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Oil Service - 7900 miles - Stamped
18/05/1993 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Inspection 1 - 14770 miles - Stamped
15/04/1994 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Oil Service - 22316 miles - Stamped
18/05/1995 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Inspection 2 - 29792 miles - Stamped
22/03/1996 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Oil Service - 36794 miles - Stamped
21/12/1996 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Inspection 1 - 43555 miles - Stamped
19/10/1997 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Oil Service - 50759 miles - Stamped
24/03/1998 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Inspection 2 - 56906 miles - Stamped
31/10/1998 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Oil Service - 64164 miles - Stamped
05/06/1999 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Inspection 1 - 71216 miles - Stamped
12/02/2000 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Oil Service - 78841 miles - Stamped
21/11/2000 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Inspection 2 - 85693 miles - Stamped
30/01/2002 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Oil Service - 96085 miles - Stamped
12/02/2003 - BMW Carrs - Bury St Edmunds - Inspection 1 - 105366 miles - Stamped
I have lots and lots of Service Invoices, if not all, detailing the above, work done etc...
Recent work done includes new Lambda Sensor, 2 x new anti roll bar drop links, new rear shocks, and new radiator.
Independant and family mechanic thereafter, no stamps. Currentley 4 green service lights left.
I have lots of previous MOT's, the car will be sold with 6 months tax, and a full 12 month MOT.
Bad Points:
A few small car park dents, nothing major, just wear and tear as expected.
A bit of rust on the rear arches, and the boot on the edge that sits on the bumper part. This cannot really be seen unless closely inspecting, have been quoted £300 to sort. (Not worth my time, as new car is imminent, this has been factored into asking price)
Drivers side side skirt is coming away from the top edge slightly, can't see why, again, not had time to sort, imagine it just needs new clips (3p each from dealer iirc)
A few minor kerb marks on the wheels, again, nothing major.
The leather interior is quite worn, there are a few very small holes (smaller than the size of a pea) and numerous cracks, rears are not too bad. Would benefit from a Liquid Leather treatment.
Drivers side speaker grill has gone awol, am sure these are very cheap at dealers.
Thats about it I think, obviously this is a 14 year old car now, so you can expect an amount of wear and tear.
It has had a new coolant level sensor put on, but still displays 'check coolant level' on the obc, at a dead end with that one, but no coolant loss at all.
Brake pad wear sensor is up on the dash, again, changed sensors and it's still there, I'm not bothered about it, as I check my pads myself anyway, but thought I should mention it.
That's all I can think of to be honest, if there is anything else I have forgotten I wil ask a mod to edit this ad for me.
Now, the price...
As said above I have factored in the bad points etc, but am also going to say that you are getting a nigh - on complete car here, the most expensive mods have been done, i..e wheels, M3 kit etc...
I'm asking for £2850, strictly no offers.
You can PM me on here, or email me at aaron.jenny@virgin.net (prefer PM) and we can talk, I will supply my mobile number over PM, unless you already have it in which case feel free to ring me or text me.
Car is located in Windsor, Berkshire, 2 minutes from Junction 6 of the M4. I am quite flexible with viewing times, but would prefer during the day on a weekday.
Here's some pics, all are clickable for larger view: (please note, GT Corners/GT2 Splitter are no longer on the car)
