Default What can i do?

ok i'm thinking about picking up a 300zx (the older shape) but it's miles away i.e. Glasgow to Bedfordshire. The car has an MOT but no tax. I was thinking about hiring a car trailer but that's pointless as i don't know anyone with a towbar....

Just wondering if there is any sort of one-day insurance scheme's or something like that coz i'm planning on cleaning the car up for a month or two before getting it back on the road otherwise i would have went with a full policy.

Failing that i'll need to have a delivery company transport it.. how much to they charge for such mileage?

Any ideas appreciated.

They check if you have tax IIRC as its a legal requirement for them to transport the vehicle

If you know someone who's already got RAC cover (asume AA is same) and their insurance cover allows them to drive other cars get them to go with you. Their RAC cover includes whichever car they're in so you can get your car recovered.
