ive just got for the second time cos i loved my first one! an erst ok this one must of been owned by neil armstrong cos its done 180000 miles and never had a rebuild or turbo for that matter but i took my mechanic with me when i went and looked at her and he said the engine sounded and went well considering! anyway ive fitted an airfilter and d/v and thats it it had full stainless on it already the trouble is when i get to around 3000rpm it has a flat spot and seems to strugle till 4000 could anyone give me a few ideas to what it maybe thanks oakey

 

Possibly warn cam lobes usually 6 7 8

 

book it in for a set up and they will sort it or tell u wats wrong

 

sounds like worn cams etc to me, get a kit and replace the lot and she should pull cleanly again

 

ok then lads ill sort the cam out but it dosnt do it all the time!
