that's why i wana got one, think they look cool, may aswell keep the original black one if you were gona paint it. , each to there own though

 

I dont like carbon anymore at all, to anyone whos not REALLY into cars (ie most the population) your driving round with a car with some panels unpainted and shite looking.

If your gonna paint it and just want it for the weight saving, save a shitload of money and get a fibreglass one for sub200quid

 

But 800 + quid for 10kg less weight
Think i would rather go on a diet for a week
That carbon one on the black 3 door is growing on me a little now though

 

Looks like its had a bad respray to me!

The car itself looks fookin spot on tho

 

arhh ha! now you see where i am coming from, black three door with a carbon bonnet don't look that bad, but for near on Ł900 i can live with the standard bonnet for a while longer.

 

The car looks ok steve but not a fan of the wheels and i'm assuming its not finished yet as there are bits missing

i think carbon bonnets are the nuts!!! i'd like 2 get one for my series 2 but too expensive!!

 

think them wheels are 19" on that black 3dr nice

Guys the bonnet was Ł850 with the vents as they are seperate items and can be bought on there own! It is a seriously well made peice of kit as well with the bracing being an exact match for standard, with the capsulated nuts to help fitting.

Spadge is right though the car is still not finished still a few things to do, including removing the remaining bump strips, delocking and painting the doors etc.

As martin says for the money you have to show it off, and its not a million miles from black anyway!
