Default Remember the shoddy Nova from Bedford?

as the title says? anyone from there remember this car? i know Smit will as he's seen this post already but i thought i'd copy it across to here too.

sooooo we all remember how my GSi used to look, for those of you who forgotten it was a bit like this!

but time took its toll and after a bit of saving i had the cash to change it from this

has you can see it was looking rather tatty and in need of some love!

Sadly it then spat its dummy out (no not me!) and did this!

and this is how it was at PVS.

i did say it would be done for Trax which it is, and this is how she's looking now, will get more pics up soonish!

Looks nice and fresh now mate.

Black wheels on white cars look

Still on a small block ?

Didn't see you up Bedford (in feb) but think last time I remember seeing the car was at the Turbo-Nutters rolling road day at Harvey Gibbs, which seems ages ago now !

yeh still small block atm. got to pay off the respray then finish off the interior before i think about Valva power, might try and get a bit more out of the 1.6 thou before then.

i was hanging around with Smit and Rossco at Bedford.... as i didnt have a clue who anyone was anyway but you are correct it was at Harvey Gibbs when a certain Alpina bent the needle on the rollers! and yes that was ages ago my mate that came down in his orange 206 well at that time was sorting out his body kit for it, since then he's had a 1.6XSi with a GTi lump in it and then stepped up to the blue oval again with an FRP! which has been in a garage for about 3-4 months now!

Sideways, whats wrong with the grill, alot of people have said they dont like it but will not give reasons!

Looks like a tidy little car m8, but why has it got a early style front end on a j-reg car?

looks a lot nicer mate but as said im no fan of grill.its an angular car and the grill is rounded and makes it look a bit sappy.needs a hard as nails grill to match the rest.

LOL yeh it certainly was when Alpina broke the damn rollers !

I do remember your car from years ago mate, and I mean years, think it was for sale next to one stop once upon a time.

Awesome cars for the money really, mine never pissed me off once but upset plenty of others with it !

Just a shame it never went on the rollers that day

yeh Jon i've had it for a good 3 years now so i should guess you've known it for a long time before that and at some point i should really catch up with ya and find out about it before i had it.

i can see what peeps are on about now, was thinking of maybe extending the line of the grill across the head lights too. i'l see how things go, my dad's nicked it cause his MG is in the same bodyshop being repaired.
