Well after about a month of not using PassionFord because of being busy
and fed up with all the back biting and insults flying around I thought
I would come back on and what do I find - Nothings changed.

Most of you are ok (I am even beginning to like IMA) but I cannot
post on here like a normal member due to my connection with
the car business.
This means I constantly have to explain myself and any situations
that arise (usually bad) and most of these are then commented on
by people who have no connection with the subject.
Things then escalate beyond a joke when things could have been
sorted by a phone call or message.

Its all getting to me a bit and to be honest I could do without it.

Just cant be bothered with it all anymore so this is my last post.
Sorry peeps.

don't be such a drama queen. I just suggest you might want to get someone else in and I get made to look like the bad guy. If you read my posts (the first ones) were constructive and polite.

I think you should stay, you have some great products and you are clearly a talented engineer. I coudln't even begin to designed ECU's etc. You obviously have your reasons for not getting someone to help you so fair enough. If you don't want to change that, thats your perogative. It's your business. I assumed perhaps wrongly that the reason you didn't get anyone in to help you was because you thought things were ok.

Anyway I'll let it drop now..

 

Totally agree with you Simon. This site pisses me off far to regularly if I contribute technically to any post, so from now on all advice and help is by email and phone only and none will be given on this forum!

 

i think its true what simon has said, on this site and probably every other, its very hard to draw the line between business and pleasure, alot of traders, tuners find it hard on here to do so.

So i guess its either or, use it simply as a business tool, or just as a personal tool.

Youve taken a lot of unnessesary shit on here Simon, half the time ebign people on here expect you to be here 24/7 as your main point of contact for the business, which as we know is not the case. I remember a bloke asked you some questions and within one hour, he had already posted 3 replies getting rather arsey to you about having not replied straight away. Its bullshit it all is total bullshit......and as a businessman/electronic engineer/family man you dont need it.

I dont like to see you leave here mate, we will be losing a great member of the community, but a few spoil it for everyone I suppose

It's a real shame, it seems being a tuner on here is more akin to being the defendant in a courtroom, except in this courtroom the jury consists mostly of people who want to see you get the chair regardless of what you say or do.

Exactly, it's all turning backwards. You'd have thought the Internet would be a great asset and in some respects it is but we are humans and naturally all we've done is fill it full of porn, ilegal stuff, arguments and missinformation. It's bad enough the way the media pounce on people as soon as their armour is chinked but it's getting the same with lots of other things now.

 

you have good products but people can't get in touch with you and have too wait ages for stuff ( my mate is still waiting for a sec's moniter that he paid for last national day )
I wanted one last year but having heard all your problems I didn't order one
Its a shame you want to keep going into new fields IE scrappy doo's and skylines but you still havn't fullfilled all your old orders yet.
sort your self out and no one will slag you off.

i for one would not have found out about the S8 ecu if it were not for you being on this forum. i am now ready to buy one (i'd have one off you at national day if possible), and nothing said about you or your company on here has (or is likely to)changed that.

you're obviously a talented engineer and your input on a couple of tech subjects has been extremely valuable. it will be a shame to not have it in the future.

yes i have done it before.... got so annoyed with a person fobbing me off that i gave them both barrels over every internet forum that i could that they would read!
then spoke to them properly and felt a complete idiot for doing it! sometimes it is the only way you feel to get it off your chest but it doesnt solve anything, it just makes it worse for everyone!

every one in a way is allowed freedom of speach etc but shouldnt get involved unless it directly involves them in some way or they have had a similar experiance and say how it was resolved! ie no "what a tosser" comments!

I totally agree with 90% of the posts. No one likes to see some one get forced out as it would apear to be, also if we piss enough people off who is going to be left! A few know nothing tossers who think they are the muts nuts when in real life they are sad little geeks with f all else to do all day but sit in front of a computer screen and slag people off.

Well if this is what it is going to end up like i can see more than just one person leaving, so why don't we all just use this site for what it is meant for ie getting on with each other, helping each other when the shit hits the fan and having a right good laugh..............

I don't live on this web site but i sure as hell help when we go to shows and meetings and quite frankly most people on here who trap off all the time do fuck all....
